General Manager, China
(China - Dongguan)
Responsibilities:
* Direct and manage the overall business and operations in Dongguan and be accountable for the profit & loss, growth and profitability.
* Supervise the day-to-day activities of all functions in the plant including Sales & Marketing, Projects/Programs, Production, Logistics, Quality Assurance, Finance and Human Resources.
* Develop and implement appropriate long and short term strategic and tactical initiatives in order to achieve specific financial and operational goals.
* Institutionalize programs focused on excellence to deliver world-class operational and business performance.
* Develop expertise, knowledge and skills of the human resources and build core competencies of the plant.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification with at least 10 years in the precision engineering/plastic injection molding/contract manufacturing industry with good general management background, business leadership, entrepreneurial drive, operational excellence and result orientation.
* Strong people management, problem solving, communication and inter-personal skills – to interface/interact with people of all levels, internal/external customers, internal/external suppliers, and corporate peers.
* Ambitious with an appetite to achieve more.
* Good professionalism and integrity.
* Working exposure in China.
* Strong proficiency in English and Mandarin.
