Bigfoot Entertainment is a fully integrated entertainment company specializing in four different areas; production (Bigfoot Productions), professional training (International Academy of Film and Television), production services (Bigfoot Production Services) and film financing (Bigfoot Partners). With newly constructed world-class production and post facilities in Southeast Asia, Bigfoot Entertainment produces quality independent feature films, television programming and educational content for international audiences.
Production Services Manager
(Central Visayas)
Responsibilities:
* Manages the physical aspects of the production services including personnel, technology, budget, and scheduling. This also includes managing the admin, maintenance and technical aspects of the equipment section for film and video production services. Serves as the primary sales contact for internal and external production services and equipment offerings.
* Organize location/set, props and equipment, accommodation and catering;
* Builds relationships with local and international vendors for supplied services including but not limited to: food & beverage, production equipment, location rental, permit and government clearance;
* Sorts out issues or conflicts that may arise and provide solutions;
* Solely liaises with internal and external production services clients;
* Manages day-to-day operations of soundstage & equipment and facilities;
* Manage the equipment rentals, admin, maintenance & technical aspects of the department and will be responsible for new rentals and increased gross revenues for the Equipment Section;
* Develop and close new business offerings to external film and video production companies and studios;
* Conduct regular research on current trends related to equipment;
* Helps manage the day-to-day budget by managing operating costs such as salaries, production costs, and everyday equipment rental costs;
* Prepares regular management reports, technical reports and oversee client/student events which make use of the company equipment;
* Coordinates with other departments for any concerns in production services in the performance of meeting the departments’ objectives;
* Works directly with HR to ensure proper contracts are in place with contracted production personnel;
* Performs HR functions: hiring, disciplining, mentoring, evaluating;
* Keeps detailed database on contract production personnel for future reference.
Requirements:
* With at least 3 years experience managing soundstage facilities and equipment
* With at least 5 years management background in production services
* With experience in developing strong relationships with Film/TV producers, Unit Production Managers, Line Producers, Location Scouts, Production Coordinators and Studio Executives
* Must be technically proficient and can operate production/post production equipment
* Knowledgeable in equipment set up/take down procedures and its proper storage
* Understanding of international marketplace / clients
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Preferably bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Broadcasting or any related field
