Singapore Research Laboratory
The Singapore Research Laboratory focuses on mobile technologies in the areas of storage, communications and display, and works closely with Singapore's local universities and research institutes. It complements the R&D functions of Sony HQ in Japan and aims to generate "made in Singapore" R&D output that will help to pave the way for Sony's next generation of products.
Engineer ~ Senior Engineer (R&D)

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a self-driven and highly motivated individual with expertise in the field of electromagnetic wave theory to join our Research & Development (R&D) team. The incumbent will be someone with strong passion in R&D work and has keen interest in commercializing emerging technologies and new discoveries. His/her primary focus will be on conducting in-depth studies on electromagnetic wave propagation. This includes the design and simulation of various wave propagation structures.
Requirements:
• Master or Doctoral degree Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Physics or an equivalent discipline
• Deep understanding of the fundamentals of electromagnetic wave theory
• Past experience in antenna and/or EM propagation structure design is highly desired
• Familiar with HFSS software and/or other RF simulation software
• Familiar with MATLAB
• Strong analytical skills
• Good in both written and conversational English Language
