Speedy (www.speedy-ind.com) is a growing company with manufacturing facilities in Singapore, Malaysia and China. Our products include wire harnessing and cable assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies, higher sub-assemblies and box builds.

Industrial/Process Engineer
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
* Hands on experience in Industrial Engineering work on time-motion-study, workflow improvements, productivity improvements
* To facilitate and monitor implementation of process continuous improvement initiatives
* Analyze resource utilization to maximize efficiency
* Maximise manufacturing floor space through optimal floor layout
* Provide the technical and economic elements necessary for the estimated product cost structure
* Evaluate manufacturing skills and recommend operator training
* Participate in reviews to evaluate new products for manufacturability, cost effectiveness and specific resource needs
* Trouble shooting manufacturing process issues
Requirements:
* Degree or Diploma in Industrial / Production / Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years related experience
* Experience in Lean and 6-Sigma principles and techniques
* Strong background in IPC 620, and IPC 610.
* Knowledge of IE techniques including operation efficiency, line balancing and cycle time measurements
* Good verbal and written communication skills
