WANTED – EXPERIENCED CRANE OPERATORS TO TRAIN AS
INSTRUCTOR/ASSESSOR ASIA PACIFIC
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
The role – Trainee Instructor/Assessor Phase
The primary function of this part of the role will be for the competent Crane Operator to undergo a period of training at our Company’s Centre of Excellence in Aberdeen, Scotland where the successful candidates will be assigned a mentor to oversee the implementation of the Development Programme. You will be trained to provide the following courses and assessments in:
Offshore Crane Operating Stages 1, 2 & 3
Banksman and Slinging
Rigging & Lifting
Wire Rope Examination
Rigging Loft Management and Lifting Equipment Examination courses.
The role – Instructor Assessor
The primary function of this role is to deliver training courses and assessment services in accordance with pre-determined methods and criteria. The successful candidate will become a fully qualified instructor/assessor equipped to deliver theoretical and practical training/assessment in accordance with prevalent legislation, best practice and client procedures. An essential element is the ability to give constructive feedback on performance to both delegates and clients ensuring any follow-on training requirements are understood.

This local status position requires the successful candidate to be based within our Singapore office with occasional offshore duties.
Requirements:
The profile
To best be able to perform on the job, we believe that the ideal candidate should have:
* Stage 3 or equivalent Crane Operator qualification
* Self motivation and be able to manage and prioritise own workload
* Solid inter-personal skills at all levels and nationalities
* excellent communication and reporting skills
* ability to read, write and speak English fluently
* IT skills, particularly use of powerpoint, word and excel
