Power Plant Project Engineering Experience within Consulting Environment is Mandatory
Our Client is recognised as a World Class Engineering company with a Global network of Offices and Projects on all major Continents. They are a leader in the development and execution of Power Plant solutions to their Clients across the region. With the substantial growth in its operations and the planned growth to be achieved, they seek innovative, solutions and technically astute Electrical Project Engineer to execute activities on specific projects across the Asia and Middle East region.
Responsibilities:
This is a Project Engineering role over viewing the technical and contract performance of the contractor executing the project. As such, we seek Project Engineering experience including over viewing of Contractor construction practices and standards, commissioning, Contract Administration/Variation Management, Report Writing and QA/QC. In this role, you will be responsible for the Transformer, Switchyard, Protection Settings and Generating Plant. You will also work as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team both on site and within the local regional office.
Requirements:
To qualify for this role, you MUST possess a Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering with 8+ year's professional experience on Power Generation Plant. Previous work experience must have seen you working in a consulting engineering environment and you will possess very good report writing skills. This experience would also in the main involve Plant construction, commissioning and operations/maintenance. Good design experience is necessary for this role. Experience on Power projects comprising technologies such as Gas Turbine, Stem Turbine, Combine Cycle, Coal Fired, Biomass, Hydro or Wind etc solutions would be highly desired. As these roles are Regional in nature across Asia and the Middle East, we have preference for candidates that are highly mobile as the projects can be anywhere in the region.
