Speedy (www.speedy-ind.com) is a growing company with manufacturing facilities in Singapore and Malaysia. Our products include wire harnessing and cable assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies, higher sub-assemblies and box builds. We are now seeking an exceptional personnel to join our expanding operation at our Johor plant.
Molding Engineer
(Johor)
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for set-up, trouble-shooting and repair for molding machines, tools and fixtures
* Study, evaluate, improve molding process and carry out continuous improvement activities
* Execute Preventive Maintenance for molding machine, molding tools and fixtures
* A key player involve in New Product Introduction for molding production
* Lead process improvement and waste reduction activities include conduct cycle time study and analysis
* Generate work instructions, analysis reports, data collection and analysis
* Supervise a team of operators to meet delivery schedules, product quality, productivity and efficiency targets
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical/Industrial) or equivalent field
* At least 2 years of relevant working experience in molding production, preferable those possess over molding experience for wires and cables
* Knowledge and experience in vertical molding machine and molding cable assembly processes is an added advantage
* A hands-on Engineer who possess excellent analytical skills
* Familiar with ISO 9001 & ROHS compliant requirement
* Self-motivated and a team player
* Committed with long term plans to work in Pontian, Johor Bahru
* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
