Systems Engineer / Senior Systems Engineer
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:
* Experienced Solaris / AIX Engineers are required to work for a large banking environment on a contract basis to support J2EE based business solutions infrastructure

* Job Scope:
* - Installation configuration and troubleshooting of Servers and Hardware with Solaris / AIX OS
* - Installation, Configuration, migration and administration of IBM Websphere, BEA Weblogic and middle ware software
* - Good administration skill required on IBM Websphere, BEA Weblogic
* - Knowledge in SUN One/iPlanet Web Servers, SUN One Directory servers (LDAP)
* - Good experience in Interwoven Teamsite/Open Deploy, Borland, etc are highly desirable
* - Respond to incidents & problem related escalations.
* - Applying the updates and Patches to all the application servers
* - Execute systems customization through Shell Scripting
* - Responsible for all Servers Uptime 24x7 in the data center.

* Requirements
* - Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
* - 2-3 years of experience in Solaris / AIX OS & Server Administration
* - Must have extensive working knowledge on IBM Websphere and BEA Weblogic
* - Experience in other middleware will be added advantage
* - With good experience in large data centers
* - System scripting is a must
* - DR knowledge and experience is a plus

* Other Requirements:
* - Excellent communication and Analytical skills
* - User-oriented, responsible and able to work independently as well as a team
* - Able to manage and work well with people in all levels

Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): IBM Websphere, BEA Weblogic, Interwoven Teamsite/Open Deploy.
* Preferred skill(s): SUN One/iPlanet Web Servers, SUN One Directory servers.
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants should be Malaysian, Singaporean, Filipino, Indian, Thai, Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
