We are located in Jurong West (Singapore) and offer a wide selection of courses and programmes for students of all ages and backgrounds. Music Teacher / Coordinator
(Jurong West (Lakeside))
Responsibilities:
* You will perform teaching duties assigned to you.
* You will perform a variety of administrative functions in support of the day-to-day operations in the music school.
* You will assist in music lesson scheduling, preparation of lesson materials, purchasing of music related resources and sale of music products.
* You will also assist in the organization of music events conducted by the music school such as student concerts.
Requirements:
* ABRSM Grade 8 practical or equivalent in Violin, Piano or Guitar, and a minimum of ABRSM Grade 5 or equivalent in Music Theory.
* Those who do not meet the above requirements but with intentions to pursue higher music qualifications in the near future are also welcomed to apply.
* Able to converse and teach comfortably in English. Able to converse and teach comfortably in a 2nd Language is an advantage.
* Customer service orientated mindset and good communication skills
* Comfortable in using computer applications
* Confident and capable of thinking on his/her feet
* Able to work both weekdays and weekends
* Able to serve a minimum of 12 months contract service
* Singaporeans, Singapore PRs, Malaysians and other foreigners are welcomed to apply
* Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
